Job summary

Google Cloud is hiring to lead the Customer Engineering team focusing on reCAPTCHA and Fraud Defense. You will build relationships with new and existing customers, enable executives and security teams, and champion the best technical and compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer-facing engagements, and the ability to drive strategic outcomes across Google Cloud offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Leadership experience (e.g., people management, team lead, mentorship, coaching).
• Experience with security technologies or concepts.
• Experience with technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers.
• Experience with the adoption of specialized workloads (e.g., Cloud AI, Data Analytics).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high-performing Customer Engineering team that meets and exceeds quarterly business goals, while building a positive team culture with an eye towards future talent.
• Support your team’s partnership with reCAPTCHA Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical and compliance objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
• Enable your team to demonstrate and validate solution benefits of User Protection Services products in customer/partner environments.
• Lead a team responsible for technical aspects of solutions, including such activities as supporting reCAPTCHA opportunities, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work and customer relationships.
• Ensure team prepares and delivers product messaging in an effort to highlight our solutions value proposition using techniques including whiteboard and presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management and RFI response documents.
