Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineering Manager for the Fraud Defense services team. You will lead a high-performing group, build trusted advisor relationships with C‑level and Security Leaders, and guide customers through securing and validating Google Cloud fraud defenses, including reCAPTCHA solutions.

You and your team will enable selling and technical success, drive production excellence, and expand partnerships by delivering strategic demonstrations and workshops that showcase

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Leadership experience (e.g., people management, team lead, mentorship, coaching).
• Experience with security technologies or concepts.
• Experience with technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers.
• Experience with the adoption of specialized workloads (e.g., Cloud AI, Data Analytics).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high-performing Customer Engineering team that meets and exceeds quarterly business goals, while building a positive team culture with an eye towards future talent.
• Support your team's partnership with reCAPTCHA Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical and compliance objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
• Enable your team to demonstrate and validate solution benefits of User Protection Services products in customer/partner environments.
• Lead a team responsible for technical aspects of solutions, including such activities as supporting reCAPTCHA opportunities, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work and customer relationships.
• Ensure team prepares and delivers product messaging in an effort to highlight our solutions value proposition using techniques including whiteboard and presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management and RFI response documents.
