Job summary

Google is seeking a Customer Engineering Manager for its Cloud Fraud Defense team. You will lead a team that expands the reCAPTCHA business, build trusted relationships with C-level and security leaders, and guide both technical and sales teams to secure and compliant project success.

You will mentor staff, handle production metrics, and drive adoption of secure, scalable protections across customer environments, while partnering with product and sales units globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Leadership experience (people management, team lead, mentorship).
• Experience with security technologies or concepts.
• Experience with technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers.
• Experience with the adoption of specialized workloads (e.g., Cloud AI, Data Analytics).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a high-performing Customer Engineering team meeting quarterly goals.
• Collaborate with reCAPTCHA Sales and Cloud teams to identify opportunities and address objections.
• Enable team to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in customer environments.
• Lead technically-focused activities: demonstrations, POCs, briefings, and customer relationships.
• Prepare product messaging and support collateral to highlight solution value.
