Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer for SLED and Local Government sectors. You will own the technical relationship from discovery to long-term adoption and expansion, operating as a quota-carrying technologist within a GTM team.

You will partner with account teams to validate architectures, drive PoCs, and ensure value realization across public sector customers in education and municipal IT environments.

Qualifications

• Public Sector Expertise: experience with SLED, Local Government, or Municipal agencies.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions/Sales Engineering.
• Technical acumen across web security, networking, cloud infra, and enterprise architecture.
• Commercial mindset in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and design bespoke architectures for public sector customers.
• Drive onboarding, technical health, risk management, and expansion strategy with account teams.
• Own quarterly business reviews translating platform value for executives.
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout onboarding, renewal, and expansion.
• Leverage AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks and focus on advisory.
