Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Senior Customer Engineer in Washington DC to drive technical go-to-market activities as a quota-carrying technologist. You will own the relationships from discovery through adoption and expansion, leveraging AI-augmented workflows to reduce administrative toil and focus on high-value architectural design.

You will partner with Account Executives to own discovery, demos, onboarding, health, risk, and expansion strategy, aligning with Cloudflare’s GTM objectives in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map customer initiatives to Cloudflare solutions.
• Build relationships with customer accounts and technical champions.
• Develop and present customer briefings at enterprise levels.
• Lead demos and PoCs for Cloudflare prospects and customers.
• Create technical content and knowledge sharing artifacts.
• Represent Cloudflare at external events with thought leadership.
• Advise on best practices and leverage AI workflows to automate routine tasks.
