Job summary

Enterprise Holdings, operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo brands, is hiring a Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) at our Effingham, IL location. This is a full-time role with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship needed now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls — reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolutions for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops and other vendors.
• Manage outgoing calls for callback management, accounts receivable, and miscellaneous calls as assigned.
• Provide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phone.
• Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Provide directions and general assistance.
• Assess condition of rental upon return and process returns, check-ins and exit kiosk transactions.
• Market the company while pickup/drop-off with safety and courtesy; assist customers as needed.
• Explain rental terms, vehicle features and services; may sell optional protection products and upgrades.
• Notify Management of known vehicle problems and maintenance needs.
• Clean vehicle interior/exterior; perform basic accounting tasks and reporting as needed.
