Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification at hire, preferred ARRT CT registration.
• Current BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days.
• Licensed to practice in state of employment; IV competency required.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning.
• 1–2 years CT hospital experience preferred; Level II requires 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT CT competency and ensure quality images.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems safely.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for exam.
• Perform exams per protocol and evaluate image quality.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with staff.
• Mentor students and junior technologists.
