Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required at hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable, upon hire, required.
• 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
• Level II technologist requires minimum 3 years CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions of the job.
• Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising patient care.
• Provide patient education and address patient concerns.
• Coordinate patient care with other providers after procedures.
• Stay updated with advancements in CT technology and protocols.
