Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, is seeking a CT Technologist Level II to join our radiology team. You will perform CT exams, maintain ARRT proficiency, operate CT equipment, and ensure patient identification and safety while producing high-quality images.

Requirements include current ARRT (R) (CT), BLS within 90 days, minimum 3 years CT experience, knowledge of anatomy and radiation safety. We offer a generous benefits package and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) in CT required or hire with CT eligibility.
• BLS certification within 60–90 days, required.
• Minimum 3 years CT experience for Level II.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical/technical CT functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality, accuracy, and needed anatomy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
• Complete studies within time expectations without compromising care.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT tech advances and participate in education.
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols.
