Job summary

Linesight, a global project and cost management consultancy, seeks a Senior Estimator (CSA) in Dallas to lead the development of comprehensive project estimates and risk analyses. You will coordinate with the project team, maintain rate libraries, and drive accuracy across all estimate components.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of estimating experience in construction, familiarity with Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX, and a construction-related degree, with chartered status or on-track

Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating experience in construction.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
• Degree or comparable construction related discipline.
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on path to complete it. We can help!
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented and quality focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team.
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.
