Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust in the United States is seeking a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite complex commercial loan transactions and analyze cash flow, collateral and borrower credit quality. The role involves collaboration with lending teams, presenting findings, and maintaining compliance across the credit process.

You will contribute to loan committee discussions, mentor junior staff, and support relationship managers in structuring transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of commercial credit experience with complex transactions; asset-based lending preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with others to achieve desired outcomes and meet deadlines.
• Complete follow-up analyses on financial statements and borrowing base history.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, economy, and competition.
• Ensure credit follow-up items (financial statements, Borrowing Base Certificates, Covenant certificates) are recorded.
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions.
• Partner with lending units to oversee future loan maturities and current pipeline while maintaining customer service.
• Participate in weekly loan committee meetings as a Credit Department representative.
• Assist the Credit Manager in coaching and mentoring junior credit associates.
• Occasionally accompany Relationship Managers on client calls and meetings.
