Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to lead underwriting of complex commercial loan transactions, with a deep focus on cash flow analysis, collateral evaluation, and risk assessment. The role supports lending decisions and ensures high-quality credit reviews.

You will collaborate with lending teams, participate in weekly loan committee meetings, and mentor junior staff while maintaining industry knowledge and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions with emphasis on complex structures
• Analyze financial statements focusing on cash flow and leverage
• Provide clear, concise credit recommendations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and market conditions
• Communicate effectively with internal/external clients

Responsibilities

• Underwrite CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credit loans
• Clearly communicate with customers and lending teams
• Collaborate to meet deadlines and client needs
• Perform follow-up analysis of financial statements and borrowing base history
• Monitor covenant compliance and reporting
• Support lending officers in structuring transactions
• Coordinate with lending units on maturities and pipeline
• Represent Credit Department in weekly loan committee
• Coach and mentor junior credit associates
• Attend client meetings when needed
