Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 7+ years in a commercial lending underwriting position.
• Bachelor's degree, completion of a formal credit training program, and prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicates with Loan Officers and Credit Portfolio Managers during underwriting, approval and portfolio management processes.
• Review and circulate credit packages and modifications for approval; ensure packages are updated as required by approvers.
• Underwrite complex new loan requests and modifications.
• Coordinate with Commercial Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants and Direct Reports to complete credit packages.
• Complete performance evaluations, reviews and approves timecards for direct reports.
• Prepare effective credit packages for approval circulation and presentation to credit authority.
• Obtain and monitor loan portfolio reports and assist lenders with action plans.
• Ensure credits are accurately risk rated and monitored.
• Adhere to Regulation B Adverse Action Procedures — Florida Division.
• Create and maintain current BSA information; adhere to watch list and EDD procedures.
• Manage covenants, borrowing bases, A-R Aging for accounts; assist in quarterly CLMR reports.
• Advise lenders on Bank's Credit Policy and related procedures; attend loan closings as needed.
