Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of how a deal should be structured and comfortability with conversing this structure to lenders.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills needed to interact with loan officers, administrative staff and customers.
• Ability to manage time efficiently.

• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites and structures new prospective transactions as well as renewals, extensions, increases, and amendments for existing clients.
• Participates in external client meetings and internal deal team discussions; identifies and mitigates risks; advises on loan structures and risk appetite.
• Performs due diligence and analysis; produces underwriting package and presents credit requests to credit authority.
• Maintains oversight via internal reporting and dashboards for portfolio monitoring and client deliverables; ensures terms of loan agreement.
• Validates and analyzes reports (financial statements, collateral docs, appraisals, etc.) to verify compliance; escalates issues as needed.
• Ensures credits are risk rated and properly monitored and reported.
• Prepares quarterly reports and analyses including Criticized Loan Monitoring Reports.
• Participates in special projects related to portfolio management.
