Job summary

City National Bank of Florida seeks a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management Officer to oversee underwriting and the loan portfolio for commercial properties. You will assess complex credits, manage renewals, and perform annual reviews in coordination with the Real Estate Risk Manager.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, prepare credit packages, monitor covenants, and support sales with market research and client relationship maintenance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of commercial real estate underwriting and/or portfolio management.
• Construction underwriting experience is a plus.
• C&I experience with owner-occupied Real Estate is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel analysis for financial modeling.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to multitask under deadlines.
• Ability to identify loan risks and communicate findings clearly.
• Independent, proactive decision maker with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and process new credit requests, including complex and construction projects.
• Underwrite specialty property assets and manage renewals/modifications.
• Conduct annual loan reviews and monitor covenants and risk changes.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to monitor and grow loan portfolios.
• Prepare credit approval packages and ensure adherence to policy and regulations.
• Document risk rating changes and assist in any restructuring efforts.
• Support sales efforts and provide market research as needed.
• Engage with examiners and auditors during portfolio reviews.
