Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to lead the credit analytics team supporting commercial, CRE, and consumer lending. You will mentor analysts, review complex loan requests, and provide expert financial analysis to help manage risk for the bank and its customers.

You will work with the Chief Credit Officer, stay current on banking regulations, and contribute to policy improvements while guiding borrowers through the underwriting process to ensure sound credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial banking practices relative to banking and lending.
• Ability to analyze complex financial statements and tax returns.
• Experience with credit investigations and loan risk assessments.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to coach and develop junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and assess risks of commercial loan requests.
• Prepare comprehensive loan analyses with cash flows and collateral reviews.
• Mentor and train junior credit analysts.
• Conduct market and industry analyses for borrowers.
• Develop and refine credit policies and procedures.
• Oversee project planning and timely completion of analyses.
• Stay up-to-date with banking laws affecting credit practices.
• Provide credit reports and recommendations to leadership.
