Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust seeks a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite complex commercial loan transactions across CRE, C&I, asset-based lending, and leveraged financing. You will conduct cash flow analysis, collateral reviews and an overall risk assessment to support sound lending decisions.

You will mentor junior analysts, participate in loan committee discussions, and coordinate with relationship managers to monitor maturities and credit quality while maintaining a high level of customer

Qualifications

Underwrite a transaction in a clear and concise manner.
Analyze financial statements for cash flow and debt service.
Provide detailed analysis of borrowing base certificates and collateral.
Communicate findings clearly to internal and external customers.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets and competition.
Demonstrate strong decision-making and client service orientation.
Manage multiple complex tasks with prioritization.
Present a professional image and uphold compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Underwrite commercial loan transactions including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance and tax credits.
Clarify and communicate with internal and external customers.
Collaborate with colleagues to produce outcomes and meet deadlines.
Complete follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history.
Monitor market conditions and industry trends impacting lending decisions.
Support lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions.
Coordinate with relationship managers to manage maturities and credit quality.
Participate in weekly loan committee meetings and contribute insights.
Mentor junior credit associates and provide coaching.
Assist in client meetings as needed.
