Job summary

ViewSonic is seeking a Credit Specialist to reconcile accounts and address discrepancies across an assigned portfolio. The role involves investigating outstanding receivables and managing customer deductions in line with established Credit & Collections policies.

You will monitor timely payments, approve customer orders for shipment, and prepare periodic reports such as cash forecasting and past-due status. Collaboration with Sales, Sales Support, and Accounting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Five (5) years of credit and collections experience.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• In depth reconciliation of customer chargebacks (deductions) on assigned accounts, including negotiation and alternative solutions.
• Monitors timely payment from customers of all outstanding invoices and investigates delays.
• Approves customer orders for shipment.
• Prepares and submits periodic reports to Credit Supervisor (cash forecasting, past due status).
• Assists in training other credit department employees as directed.
• Performs duties on behalf of Credit Supervisor when out of the office.
• Performs other related duties as needed.
• Develops solid working relationships with Sales, Sales Support, and Accounting.
