Job summary

Vonage is seeking a Credit and Collections Analyst to manage delinquent accounts, assess credit risk, and support revenue growth while minimizing financial exposure. The role spans cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Carrier and Customer Support and permits remote work.

You will conduct credit assessments, manage multi-currency billing, and produce AR reports for leadership, while ensuring SOX compliant processes and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance and Collections, preferably for a US company.
• Experience in managing and reconciling complex netting accounts.
• Experience with multi-currency billing and the full OTC cycle.
• Experience in SOX control environments.

Responsibilities

• Support cash collections for delinquent customers by contacting them to resolve unpaid balances.
• Assist with Collections Analyst escalations, providing guidance as the secondary escalation point for API collections issues.
• Conduct credit assessments for customers to support revenue growth while minimising financial risk.
• Liaise with Sales, Carrier and Customer Support teams on internal and external Finance queries.
• Perform periodic and ad hoc reconciliation of customer accounts to resolve variances and delays.
• Manage netting processes, coordinating with AP and customers to reconcile transactions.
• Coordinate with tax team to support local and withholding tax requirements.
• Ensure SOX-compliant finance processes for efficient operations.
• Generate weekly and monthly AR reports for executive review.
• Assist with process improvement projects to enhance collections outcomes.
