Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite commercial loan transactions, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits. You will analyze cash flow, collateral, and borrower information while coordinating with lenders and clients to ensure timely, sound credit decisions.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in commercial credit, asset-based lending experience, and strong communication skills to support lending officers and participate in loan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in commercial credit involving complex transactions.
• Experience in asset based lending required both in underwriting and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions, which includes CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits
• Clearly communicate with internal and external customers
• Work with others to produce needed outcomes and meet deadlines
• Complete follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history
• Maintain up to date knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition
• Ensure credit related follow-up items (primarily financial statements, Borrowing Base Certificates and Covenant compliance certificates) are reflected on the follow-up systems
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions
• Partner with lending units to maintain oversight of future loan maturities and current pipeline to ensure deadlines are met and maintain a high level of customer service
• Be an active participant in weekly loan committee meetings as a representative of the Credit Department
• Assist the Credit Manager in providing coaching and mentoring to junior credit associates
• At times, accompany Relationship Managers on customer calls and participate in client meetings
