Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst III to independently evaluate complex commercial credits, including CRE and C&I. You will review financial statements, project cash flows, and assess risk with bank policies, partnering with Relationship Managers to support loan decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance is preferred and 7–9 years banking experience.
• Experience with financial spreads and credit analysis essential.
• Strong written/verbal communication and MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze financial statements including tax returns and statements.
• Prepare financial spreads for commercial/real estate borrowers and guarantors.
• Assess credit worthiness and determine risk ratings and structures.
• Explain findings in comprehensive reports with data visuals.
• Mentor junior analysts and support policy compliance.
• Assist Relationship Managers in monitoring and reporting.
