Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst III to independently evaluate and underwrite complex AgriBusiness credits including CRE, C&I, and municipalities. You will analyze financial statements, projections, and reports to assess creditworthiness and regulatory compliance.

In collaboration with Commercial Relationship Managers, you will determine risk ratings, propose credit structures, mentor junior analysts, and support credit administration and regulatory governance.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Proficiency with financial spread software.
• Commercial banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads and analyzes financial statements and reports.
• Prepares financial spreads for CRE, C&I, and other credits.
• Analyzes credit worthiness and determines risk ratings.
• Writes comprehensive analysis reports for loan decisions.
• Mentors Credit Analysts I and II.
• Ensures compliance with bank policies and regulations.
