Job summary

The Credit Analyst III at First Interstate Bank evaluates and underwrites complex AgriBusiness credits, including CRE, C&I, and municipalities. You will gather and analyze financial statements, projections, and reports to assess creditworthiness and risk, partnering with Commercial Relationship Managers to support loan relationships and portfolio performance.

You will prepare spreads, analyze cash flows and ratios, and develop comprehensive reports.

Responsibilities

• Reads and analyzes financial statements (tax returns, balance sheets, P&L, etc.).
• Prepares financial spreads for various commercial clients and CRE/municipal borrowers.
• Analyzes creditworthiness, cash flows, ratios, collateral, and industry risks.
• Writes comprehensive analysis reports with data visuals and narrative.
• Determines risk ratings and provides credit recommendations or modifications.
• Mentors junior analysts and supports training activities.
• Supports Relationship Managers in quarterly monitoring reports.
