Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst III to independently evaluate and underwrite complex AgriBusiness commercial credits, including CRE and C&I, as well as hospitality, municipalities, and more. You will gather and interpret financials and reports to assess creditworthiness and risk, collaborating with Commercial Relationship Managers to support loan relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 7-9 years banking experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience with financial spread software required.
• Commercial banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads and analyzes financial statements including tax returns, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepares financial spreads for commercial and real estate businesses and municipalities.
• Analyzes credit worthiness and assesses risks for loan applications and guarantors.
• Produces a comprehensive report of analysis combining data visuals and narrative.
• Develops recommendations regarding credit approval, modification, renewal, or denial.
