Job summary

First Interstate Bank in multiple U.S. locations is seeking a Credit Analyst III to evaluate complex AgriBusiness and commercial credits, supporting loan relationships with analytical rigor and sound judgment.

You will gather financial data, run projections, and prepare detailed analyses to inform credit decisions while mentoring junior analysts and ensuring compliance with policy and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and assess credit risk.
• Experience spreading historical and projection-based financials to evaluate cash flows.
• Knowledge of bank policies and federal regulations relevant to credit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret financial statements including tax returns, balance sheets, and P&L statements.
• Prepare and review financial spreads for various agri-business and CRE credits.
• Independently assess creditworthiness and determine risk ratings and credit structure recommendations.
• Develop comprehensive analysis reports with data visuals and narrative.
• Mentor junior analysts and support lending relationships.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and bank credit policy.
