Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Omaha, NE is seeking a Credit Analyst III to independently evaluate and underwrite complex AgriBusiness commercial credits, CRE, C&I, and related areas. You will gather and analyze financial statements, projections, and reports to assess creditworthiness and compliance with policies.

You will partner with Commercial Relationship Managers to support loan relationships, determine risk ratings, craft credit structures, and mentor junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work with Relationship Managers and Risk personnel.
• Experience with financial spreads and credit analysis.
• Commercial banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read financial statements and tax returns to assess creditworthiness.
• Prepare financial spreads for CRE, C&I, agri, municipalities, and related credits.
• Independently analyzes credit risk and assigns risk ratings.
• Prepare comprehensive analysis reports with data visuals and narrative.
• Support Relationship Managers in monitoring loan relationships and risk.
• Mentor Credit Analysts I and II; participate in training activities.
