Job summary

Citizens Bank in New York seeks a Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager to lead new business development with institutional and middle-market real estate clients, delivering the bank's full product suite and coordinating loan structuring and documentation.

You will maintain active client relationships, present credit strategies to senior management, manage risk, and collaborate with Treasury, Derivatives, and Capital Markets while supporting portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years CRE Relationship Management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CRE asset classes: Senior Housing, Multi-Family, Mixed Use Industrial, and Institutional.
• Experience with all credit lending products: Construction, Bridge, Term and Unsecured Lines of Credit.

Responsibilities

• Identify, maintain, and grow relationships with institutional and middle market real estate companies, including delivering the Bank’s full product suite, services, and capabilities.
• Prepare recommendations for structuring loans, including syndications strategies, based on specific customer requirements.
• Prepare necessary documentation to support the loan transaction process to include loan origination, structuring and execution of large, complex transactions.
• Perform necessary activities associated with the generation and assessment of new loans, includes risk assessment, generating targeted returns from investments, structuring credit terms, coordinating due diligence efforts, and may be responsible for marketing
• Support Portfolio Management team with various ongoing credit management
• Coordinate efforts with internal product partners: Treasury Management, Derivatives, Capital Markets, etc.
• Establish and cultivate Bank and Institutional Relationships across the Financial Services Sector;
