RockBridge Search & Recruitment in Sacramento seeks a Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Lender to develop a high-quality CRE portfolio, originate and structure loans, and drive strategic partnerships with brokers, CPAs, and developers.

This senior role requires strong credit analysis, negotiation, and market insight to navigate complex financing and close meaningful transactions in California's dynamic CRE market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate lending or commercial banking experience.
• Proven success originating and closing CRE loans.
• Strong credit analysis and underwriting expertise.
• Experience analyzing complex borrower financial statements and commercial property performance.
• Knowledge of construction lending, permanent financing, and commercial loan documentation.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong business development instincts with an established network in the Sacramento market preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Real Estate, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and expanding a high-quality portfolio of Commercial Real Estate relationships.
• Originating loans for income-producing properties, construction projects, owner-occupied real estate, multifamily developments, industrial properties, office, retail, and mixed-use assets.
• Structuring creative financing solutions that balance client goals with sound credit practices.
• Partnering closely with Credit, Underwriting, and Executive Leadership to move transactions efficiently from application through closing.
• Performing financial analysis including cash flow modeling, debt service coverage, collateral evaluation, rent rolls, guarantor analysis, and global cash flow.
• Presenting loan opportunities to Loan Committee with confidence and credibility.
• Monitoring portfolio performance while proactively managing risk and maintaining exceptional asset quality.
• Building referral partnerships with brokers, CPAs, attorneys, developers, investors, and centers of influence throughout Northern California.
• Staying ahead of market trends, interest rate movements, and commercial real estate opportunities to better serve clients.
