Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment is partnering with a Plano, Texas-based financial institution to recruit a Vice President, Commercial Lender. You’ll build a high-quality C&I loan portfolio, serve as a trusted advisor, and develop relationships with middle-market clients across the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial lending experience with portfolio management success.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Proven ability to develop new commercial relationships.
• Strong knowledge of credit underwriting and financial statement analysis.
• Experience structuring loans (LOCs, term loans, owner-occupied real estate, equipment financing, working capital).

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow commercial banking relationships through networking and business development.
• Build and manage a diverse C&I loan portfolio.
• Structure loans to meet client needs within credit policies.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and collateral.
• Present loan requests with thorough credit analysis.
• Collaborate with Credit Analysts and Underwriters to process loans.
• Cross-sell treasury, deposits, and cash management products.
• Monitor credit quality and regulatory compliance of loan relationships.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and meet production goals.
• Represent the bank at community events and industry groups.
• Stay informed on market conditions and banking products.
• Deliver outstanding service before, during, and after lending.
