Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in credit analysis/underwriting in commercial real estate lending.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to present results clearly.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze financial and credit information to determine cash flow and creditworthiness for borrowers.
- Prepare detailed credit approval and loan review reports.
- Research industry and market information relevant to collateral location.
- Communicate analytical findings to bankers and credit officers.
- Review loan documents and understand title to commercial real estate.
