Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking a Credit Underwriter III – CRE to join our commercial lending team in Dallas. The role focuses on gathering and interpreting financial and credit information to assess creditworthiness for moderately complex CRE borrowers and loan relationships.

You will support bankers to maximize credit quality and minimize risk. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in credit analysis, underwriting commercial real estate, and strong proficiency in assessing financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; 10+ years in discipline preferred
• Strong underwriting and credit analysis experience in commercial real estate
• Experience reviewing financial statements, tax returns, rental schedules and appraisals

Responsabilités

• Review financial and credit information to determine cash flow and creditworthiness of borrowers and guarantors
• Prepare detailed credit approval and loan review reports using leases, rent rolls, appraisals and environmental reports
• Research industry and market information relevant to collateral locations and loan structures
• Communicate analytical findings to bankers and credit officers
• Review and negotiate loan documents and assess title on commercial real estate properties
• Monitor credit files and covenant compliance; assist in training junior staff
