Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Dallas seeks a Credit Underwriter III - CRE to assess the creditworthiness of commercial borrowers and support new and existing loan relationships.

You will analyze financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, and collateral, preparing comprehensive credit analyses for review by bankers and credit officers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, business, economics, or finance.
• 7+ years of credit analysis/credit underwriting in a CRE environment.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial and credit information to determine cashflow and creditworthiness for borrowers and guarantors.
• Prepare detailed credit approval and loan review reports using leases, rent rolls, appraisals, and environmental reports.
• Communicate key analytical findings to bankers, management or credit officers.
• Review and negotiate loan documents on behalf of the bank.
• Stay educated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
