Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose, repair, modernize, and upgrade cranes at customer sites. You will lead field technicians, communicate with management and customers, and ensure safety in a 24/7 on-call environment with after-hours and weekend availability.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years crane repair experience, a valid driver’s license, strong teamwork, and basic computer skills for crane inspection software.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years crane repair & maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Commit to working safely
• Willing to work off the ground at various heights
• Basic computer skills to work with web-based crane inspection programs
• Communicate well with others and work independently or as a team
• Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after-hours services as required
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade industrial hoists and cranes at customer sites
• Train and mentor field technicians
• Perform OSHA-required hoist and crane inspections and generate reports
• Coordinate with Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule work
• Consult with customers on repair and safety improvements
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle, and assets in safe condition
• Operate tools and vehicles safely; report deficiencies
• Maintain supplies in company vehicle
• Work well in a team environment
• Attend trainings and seminars
• Participate in HCSG 5 Marks program
• Other duties as assigned
