Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a Senior Technician to service and modernize cranes. You will troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade hoists in the field, lead nearby technicians, and communicate with management and customers in a safety-first environment.

This role requires 5–7 years crane repair experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work on-call, including after hours or weekends as needed to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years crane repair and maintenance experience.
• 3–4 years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair work.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work at heights and travel as needed.
• Ability to read web-based crane inspection programs.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after hour services.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade cranes in the field.
• Train and mentor field technicians.
• Perform crane inspections and generate reports.
• Communicate with Service Manager to schedule work.
• Maintain company equipment and assets safely.
