Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a Senior Technician, a heavy equipment mechanic specializing in modernization and repair of cranes. The role includes troubleshooting, routine maintenance, upgrades, and leading field technicians while serving as the liaison between management and customers.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years crane repair and maintenance experience, strong electrical/mechanical background, and the ability to work independently or in a team. On-call and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years crane repair and maintenance experience.
• 3–4 years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in variable environments.
• Good communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call and provide after-hours services.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and upgrade cranes in the field.
• Mentor field technicians.
• Perform OSHA inspections and prepare reports.
• Coordinate with management to schedule work.
• Discuss repair and safety recommendations with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles.
• Operate tools and vehicles safely.
• Attend trainings and participate in the 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned.
