Atlas NextWave seeks a Counsel / Senior Counsel to support its growing U.S. solar platform in New York City.

This full-time, permanent role operates in a hybrid setting, collaborating with senior stakeholders and an international legal team. You will oversee legal matters across utility-scale solar development through construction, including drafting and negotiating EPC agreements and related commercial contracts, and advising on ITC eligibility and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• JD from a U.S. law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
• Approx. 8-10+ years of legal experience.
• Strong renewable energy experience, ideally within utility-scale solar development.

Aufgaben

• Provide legal support across utility-scale solar projects, from development through to construction.
• Draft, develop and negotiate EPC agreements and other project-related commercial contracts.
• Advise on contractual and commercial risks, including performance guarantees, warranties, indemnities and liability provisions.
• Advise on U.S. renewable energy tax credits, particularly ITC eligibility, qualification, compliance and safe harbor requirements.
• Support project financing, M&A and investment-related matters alongside experienced legal colleagues.
• Work closely with development, commercial and finance teams to provide practical legal advice.
