Job summary

Recurrent Energy, a leading solar and energy storage developer, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to support real estate, permitting, and development activities across North America. You will work with project finance, construction, operations, and tax teams to advance utility-scale projects.

The role requires a U.S.-qualified law degree, 5+ years in real estate transactions, and strong negotiation skills. Remote or hybrid US work options may apply.

Qualifications

Requires U.S.-credentialed law degree and admission to a state bar.
Minimum 5 years drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate agreements.
Experience in project development, site control, permitting, and interconnection.
Experience with real estate for utility-scale solar or storage is preferred.
Strong communication with lenders, investors, title companies.

Responsibilities

Oversee strategic real estate support for site control, finance, and M&A.
Draft, review, negotiate real estate provisions in LOIs and agreements.
Review title commitments, surveys, and oversee title curative work.
Provide real estate support for project development, interconnection, offtake, and tax abatement.
Coordinate with outside counsel and consultants; manage internal processes.
Contribute to corporate real estate matters and governance.
