Job summary

Stellar Renewable Power LLC is seeking an in-house Counsel/Senior Counsel to support all stages of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. You will provide practical legal guidance to Development, Procurement, Engineering, Finance and Operations teams across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Active law license in at least one U.S. state and ability to register as in-house counsel where required.
• 3+ years as Counsel or 6+ years as Senior Counsel in transactional settings; energy, infrastructure, project finance or real estate preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; initiative-driven.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance across the full project lifecycle for utility-scale solar and storage developments.
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate leases, permits, EPC, balance of plant and procurement agreements.
• Support financing, tax equity, and equity transactions with outside counsel.
• Negotiate offtake, interconnection, and related agreements; oversee regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate litigation support and corporate governance activities as needed.
• Monitor regulatory requirements (FERC, state utilities) and ensure compliance across projects.
