Solar Landscape is seeking a motivated EPC Counsel to join its legal team, handling development, construction, procurement, and operation contracts for commercial solar and energy storage projects.

The role requires drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements, providing project-related legal guidance, and collaborating with internal teams to enable efficient project execution while managing routine matters independently.

Formación

• JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. state bar in good standing.
• 2+ years of relevant legal experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience in construction, procurement, renewable energy, or in-house legal department is preferred.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills with ability to identify material risks.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize deadlines, and escalate issues when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate EPC agreements, construction subcontracts, professional services agreements, procurement and supply agreements, and related contracts.
• Advise on project-related legal and compliance matters and support project execution.
• Identify contractual risks and propose practical recommendations aligned with company goals.
• Research and advise on federal, state, and local requirements including compliance matters for solar projects.
• Assist with O&M, asset management, and other commercial agreements supporting construction and operations.
• Support contract-related claims, disputes, and coordination with outside counsel.
• Assist with corporate and transactional matters related to construction and operations.
• Collaborate across Procurement, Construction, Engineering, Development, Operations, and Finance to address legal issues.
• Contribute to standard negotiation positions and improve contract review processes.
