Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Transactions to support its commercial contracting function with a focus on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, AI-enabled offerings, data processing and strategic partnerships.

Based in the United States (Michigan area) with a hybrid work setup, you will draft, review and negotiate customer-facing agreements, collaborate with Sales, Product, Security and Finance, and help scale contracting processes while leveraging AI legal tech tools.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in technology transactions, in-house or firm.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, cloud services, data processing, and partnerships.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for software, SaaS, cloud, and strategic partnerships.
• Provide strategic legal advice on commercial and operational issues.
• Engage with customers to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.
• Improve contracting processes and standard forms to increase efficiency.
• Utilize AI legal tech tools and MS Office, Salesforce, and Ironclad.
• Support pricing initiatives and governance with Finance and Ops.
• Manage internal approvals and prioritization of contracts.
• Collaborate across Sales, Product, Security, Compliance, and Finance.
