Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to draft and negotiate complex engineering, procurement, and construction agreements for utility-scale wind and solar projects across North America.

You will lead critical reviews of MSAs, BESS, trackers, inverters, transformers, and service agreements, while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient contracting processes. Travel to domestic and international sites is expected.

Qualifications

• JD or LLB from US/Canada.
• Current bar license in one or more US/Canadian jurisdictions.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes assignments and deadlines.
• Experience with renewable energy projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and drafting of EPC, BoP, HV, and related construction agreements.
• Lead MSAs, BESS, tracker, inverter, MPT, breaker, and turbine supply agreements.
• Oversee long-term service, O&M, and ancillary service agreements.
• Provide compliance language and risk reviews for all procurement contracts.
• Develop and update contract templates and form agreements.
• Advise internal clients and coordinate with external counsel.
