Job summary

EDF power solutions North America seeks a senior legal professional to lead negotiations and drafting of EPC, BoP, HV, MSAs, and related procurement/service agreements for utility-scale wind, solar, storage, and transmission projects.

You will advise internal clients, manage outside counsel, and help develop templates and risk controls within a fast-paced renewable energy environment.

Qualifications

• Ten years or more of law firm and/or in-house experience.
• Current bar license from one or more US or Canadian jurisdictions.
• JD or LLB from an accredited law school in the US or Canada.
• Experience managing external counsel.
• Renewable energy company experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations, drafting and review of EPC, BoP, HV, MSA and related agreements.
• Draft and review long-term service, storage, and supply agreements for energy projects.
• Provide legal advice, templates, and training to internal clients; manage external counsel.
• Support compliance, risk reviews and due diligence in project finance transactions.
