Intuit is seeking an experienced Senior Assistant General Counsel – Privacy, Data Innovation & Protection in Mountain View. The role leads privacy program strategy, oversees a team, and counsels product, engineering, and data science on data governance, PETs, and first‑party data initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines a deep privacy law background with hands-on leadership, the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments, and strong collaboration with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Active bar admission and eligibility to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• JD from an accredited law school; CS/engineering background valued.
• 10+ years in privacy and data protection law, with 5+ years in tech/FinTech.
• Expert knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, GLBA, FTC Act, FCRA.
• Experience advising on adtech privacy law and data processing agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a geographically dispersed privacy team.
• Counsel product, engineering, marketing, and data science teams on privacy by design.
• Develop governance frameworks for data innovation, PETs, and first‑party data strategy.
• Analyze regulatory developments and provide proactive program guidance.
• Represent Intuit with regulators and industry bodies.
