You will independently handle higher exposure insurance defense matters, including major and complex cases, from inception through trial and appeal, delivering results for insured clients and Travelers.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of defense litigation experience, admission to state bar, strong trial and appellate skills, and the ability to mentor junior attorneys while building relationships with

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
• Active license to practice law in required state(s).
• 7+ years of practicing attorney experience.
• Strong trial, appellate and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-exposure cases and complex litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Apply litigation strategies and negotiate resolutions where appropriate.
• Draft substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Attend court events, depositions, and related proceedings.
• Provide case analysis and advice to insured clients and claim partners.
