Job summary

Fujifilm Holdings America Corporation is seeking a senior counsel to lead privacy, data protection, and AI program compliance across business functions. You will provide expert legal counsel on state, federal, and international privacy laws affecting North America, South America, and Europe.

The role is fully remote within the US and involves supporting privacy programs, PIAs, vendor risk, and privacy training, with collaboration across privacy, security, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active US state bar in good standing.
• 8–12 years as a practicing attorney, with 5–10 years in privacy and security counseling.
• Knowledge of CPRA, VDCPA, CMIA, HIPAA, GDPR, TCPA, CAN‑SPAM.
• Experience drafting AI/privacy and security contracts.
• Experience with incident response and cybersecurity preparedness.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and advisor on data privacy and protection law.
• Advise on compliance with US and global data protection laws.
• Collaborate to support privacy program and minimize privacy risk.
• Support privacy impact assessments, vendor reviews, and data mapping.
• Develop privacy training and awareness initiatives for employees.
• Negotiate AI, privacy and security terms in partner/vendor contracts.
• Provide counsel on investigations involving data loss or unauthorized access.
• Advise on incident response strategies and regulatory alignment.
