Job summary

Fujifilm Holdings America Corporation is seeking a Senior Counsel to independently manage complex commercial, regulatory, and IP matters for its CDMO/Life Sciences operations across multiple geographies. The role emphasizes strategic risk management, contract design, and collaboration with global teams.

The position supports a remote work model with a preference for East Coast locations, requiring 10–20% travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to at least one state bar in good standing; NC admission preferred.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in corporate law within CDMO, Life Sciences, or healthcare sectors.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial contracts, contracting theory, and legal design.
• Strong negotiation and executive communication skills; able to influence senior leaders.
• Experience navigating matrixed/global environments and cross-functional decision making.
• Knowledge of compliance topics relevant to life sciences (data privacy, competition, anti-bribery).
• Familiarity with international contracting and multi-jurisdictional risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts (MSAs, SOWs, supply, manufacturing, services, quality agreements, NDAs).
• Advise senior management on legal/regulatory risks and propose risk-mitigation strategies.
• Serve as principal advisor and external spokesperson on legal topics for CDMO/Life Sciences sectors.
• Develop long-term legal strategies and playbooks across regions and functions.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Program teams to drive high-value collaborations and timely deals.
• Manage a high-volume, complex caseload with clear stakeholder communication.
