Qualifications

• Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in-house and/or at a law firm supporting technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, and enterprise commercial agreements.
• Understanding of technology, information privacy, security, and regulatory considerations.
• JD degree from an accredited law school and US licensure.
• Proficiency with AI tools and legal tech platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer, procurement, and strategic commercial negotiations and transactions, including SaaS, software, cloud services, AI offerings, and strategic partnerships.
• Provide creative and strategic legal advice and business counsel on commercial and operational issues with high-volume contracts.
• Engage with customers to ensure they feel heard and deliver value.
• Suggest and implement process improvements, including standard forms and templates.
• Demonstrate agility in AI legal tools and identify which tools fit best for different purposes.
• Support pricing initiatives and governance with Finance and business stakeholders.
• Participate in internal approval workflows and manage contract prioritization.
• Use AI tools, MS Office, Salesforce, and Ironclad effectively and responsibly.
