Turner & Townsend in the United States is seeking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team, supporting construction cost services for clients across real estate and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate holds a construction-related degree with 3–5 years' experience, and familiarity with cost management practices and procurement strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost management for construction projects.
• RICS accreditation is valuable and helpful for professional progression.
• Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Advise client on strategies, prequalify vendors, assess proposals and manage bid interviews.
• Develop project estimates including construction, direct work and other costs.
• Review estimates, present to client and provide value engineering and risk assessments.
• Establish reporting schedules and manage cost reports and forecasts.
• Maintain commercial risk register and oversee change orders and invoicing.
