Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on a major capital construction program. This on-site role in Ohio will require regular site presence and provide strategic commercial leadership across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, client-facing experience, and the ability to lead a team while upholding Turner & Townsend values and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and cost management expertise within construction.
• Experience interfacing with clients, stakeholders and consultants at all project stages.
• Ability to lead a cost management team and deliver on accountabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management services on a major capital construction program.
• Interface with client, stakeholders and consultants across project stages.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management throughout the lifecycle.
• Communicate professionally with general contractor and owner’s representatives.
• Coordinate management of Cost Management and Project Controls on large programs.
• Act as first contact for reporting commercial status of a project.
• Develop and implement cost management processes, templates and tools.
• Mentor and develop team members, and promote Turner & Townsend values.
• Prepare reports and KPI-based analyses for management and clients.
• Support business development and bid/proposal activities.
