Job summary

Raytheon, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Principal Specialist in Cost Controls to drive program financials. You will partner with IPTs, program managers, and finance to ensure accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and analysis. The role requires strong EVM knowledge and SAP systems experience in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has at least a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting or Economics and 3–5+ years of relevant experience, with U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with SAP systems and SAP Business Warehouse.
Familiarity with EVM metrics: SPI, CPI, TCPI, IEAC, VAC, EAC.
Experience collaborating with Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
U.S. citizenship is required for government access.

Responsibilities

Support program financial execution with Program Business Managers, IPT Leads, and Finance teams.
Assist cost reporting, EVM, and financial analysis activities.
Prepare internal cost reports and analyze cost data and performance metrics.
Compile quarterly EAC submissions for leadership review.
Prepare monthly cost and performance analysis for Earned Value reporting.
Analyze financial performance at functional and product levels; identify variances.
Process Baseline Change Requests and support the LRE process with financial tools.
Use PRISM for material cost analysis; respond to financial inquiries.
